I am planning to trip Maldives so where it is and how can we go there we are going to discuss.Maldives is really beautiful country, that’s why I think I can share my view with you. The Maldives is an archipelago made up of 1190 small islands located in the Indian Ocean, south-southwest of India. As can be seen from the close map, it deceit in a chain forming a festoon among India and Sri Lanka. It is situated at a tactical location on the ocean routes across the Indian Ocean.

 Few decade ago, Maldives was a kingdom, consisting of a diverse contest of population that of Tamil Sinhala, Hindu and of Arab derivation and aborigines with their religion probably Buddhism. It is known that many Arab traders coming to the Maldives because of the country being situated in the heart of such a significant sea route for the Arab trade with the Far East. Maldives transformed to Islam and became a Sultanate Mohamed Adil in 1153A. This recognized a dynastic rule that lasted until 1930.

 It was historical period for Maldives. Maldivian people retained their own traditions and laws and indeed their total freedom. There was no slavery in the islands, no domination of the people by the nobles, no crime and very little disease. There was also a satisfactorily of food for all, so that no one feels hungry for food.

 The British era lasted a long time from 1887 to 1965.Maldives was briefly colonized by the Portuguese and the Dutch, but extraordinarily it was under the British as a province the Maldives went through most 
important changes. 

 

The Beautiful Comilla

We know our country is so beautiful,And comilla is one of the most beautiful city in our country,Now we will provide information about Comilla, Comilla District is a district of Bangladesh located about 100 kilometers south east of Dhaka. Established as a district of Bengal by the British in 1790, it included the Sub-divisions of Brahmanbaria and Chandpur which eventually became separate districts in 1984. 

Comilla is bordered by Brahmanbaria and Narayanganj districts to the north, Noakhali and Feni districts to the south, Tripura of India to the east, and Munshiganj and Chandpur districts to the west.

Important landmarks include Kotbari, a cantonment, or military installation and Kandirpar, considered the heart of the Comilla district. Ancient Buddhist Monastery ruins are the major attraction of Mainamati, near Kotbari. 

There is also a Second World War cemetery located about 3.1 km away from Comilla Cantonment, which was a frontier military base in the fight against the Japanese who had occupied Burma. British Army soldiers killed during the fight with the Japanese Army at the Burma (Myanmar) frontier were buried here. Kazi Nazrul Islam, the national poet of Bangladesh, passed significant time of his life in this town. Both his wives, Promila Devi and Nargis, hailed from this district. Comilla Victoria College and Comilla Zilla School are two ancient and famous college and school in the country. Comilla Zilla School was established in the year of 1837.

Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development(BARD) is situated in Kotbari. Situated by the bank of the river Ghumti, Comilla is also famous for some tanks such as 'Dhormo Sagor', 'Ranir Dighi', 'Nanuar Dighi', 'Ujir Dighi' etc.So if you get time you can visit the nice city comilla.
